Welcome to AstroPics!
My interest in astrophotography started during a family trip to Hawaii in 2019. While most of the trip was spent in Oahu, we spent two days (one night) at the Big Island just to see first hand a view of the Milky Way. Mauna Kea was closed that night but we were still high enough. While it was raining, that day we persevered to find clear skies and found them at the Volcano National Park!
Since then, my interest in astrophotography has only grown. I have shot Deep Space Objects (DSOs), planets, and nightscapes. I have spent long nights on weekends fiddling with stuff to make it work, often times without success. My goal is to make the journey easier for others willing to accomplish the same.
